Bandai Namco’s brain punk action RPG contains many optional quests and collectibles. Among these are certain rewards closely linked to the Scarlet Nexus anime series, which aired in the months following the game’s release. The anime is key to figuring out passwords known as the Musubi codes, which grant a series of exclusive in-game prizes.

How do you unlock the Scarlet Nexus Musubi codes?
During Phase 2 of Scarlet Nexus, a Brain Message will invite you to Musubi’s, a café that actually hosts a number of character bond events and a handful of sidequests throughout the game. Once you have accepted Musubi’s invite and gone there once, it will be available on your map as a fast-travel location.
Musubi is the green character near the entrance. Talking to her will reveal a mission that entails a selection of codes and passwords that must be input one at a time to reap certain benefits.
Where are the Musubi codes found?
There are 14 Scarlet Nexus Musubi codes. The first of these is within the game itself, but the remaining 13 are all including during episodes of the corresponding anime series.
If you tried to enter a Musubi code before the relevant anime episode had aired, then Musubi would not actually allow you to claim a prize. Now that all relevant episodes of the series are available, you should have no problem entering all of the codes and claiming the reward for each one.
All Scarlet Nexus Musubi codes and rewards
Each code and reward is listed below. These are called “Top Secret Files” within the game, and each numbered entry below corresponds with the Secret File number when talking to Musubi. Many of these rewards are character-specific Poster Visions, which are cosmetic items that allow you to display holograms of different characters.
Be mindful that Musubi codes are case-sensitive. If the code isn’t working, change the capitalisation and try again.

Where can I watch the Scarlet Nexus anime?
Even with the codes in your possession, if your interest has been piqued by the Scarlet Nexus anime you can check it out on Funimation here. This is the best place to watch it since the majority of other streaming services did not add it to their selections.
At the time of writing, you don’t even need an account or paid membership to watch, so you can give the first couple of episodes a try with no pressure.
Also, you may note that there are more episodes than codes but only the first 13 episodes have Musubi codes within them.
Are the Musubi code rewards worth it?
As you’ll see above, the vast majority of the rewards are cosmetic items that truthfully don’t make a great deal of difference, along with some pretty good plug-ins.
One of my biggest annoyances in the whole game was the tedious gift-giving to increase character bonds, so anything that can raise bond growth to alleviate this is worth getting. Some of the latter plug-ins to increase SAS recovery and EXP can also come in useful.
Since this doesn’t take much time or effort, and now the full list of codes is available, it’s probably worth blasting through the codes and snagging the prizes.
